Tour Description

Free walking tour covering the history of Lincoln's sweeping South Common. The South Common is one of Lincoln's spectacular areas of Medieval common land, with history from the Roman period right through to the testing of the first tanks during the First World War. The walk comprises a ramble through the green space including uneven ground and inclines, and takes in the history of the neighbouring Cow Paddle. Please be considerate when booking.
